Giles Robson & The Dirty Aces-“The Mighty Incinerator”

Artist: Giles Robson & the Dirty Aces
Song: The Mighty Incinerator
Album: Crooked Heart of Mine

Wow, although I’m sure there have been a few down the line, I can not recall the last time I found a new band with a harmonica in it that I really liked. Giles Robson (lead singer) plays a mean one though. I love the sound of these guys and their CD is in my constant rotation. The whole CD is a good listen, so make sure to check out the whole thing.

I’m not sure how to describe what they sound like, good lyrics + good singer + harmonica + swing bass (?, sounds like one anyway) = awesome
The closest I could come, I guess, would be to have you imagine if the old Chicago blues scene (when Harp players were king) and the 60’s UK rock revolution had a baby, and they named it Giles Robson & The Dirty Aces.

I’ve been harassing them on their facebook page to quit touring in Europe and come to the U.S.A. already, I’ll be first in line for tickets.

Hope you enjoy!
